In case you've been wondering what I've been up to....

Grafton will be 20 months old on Friday, April 1st.  Wow!  We've been pretty busy as usual.  Grafton is like a little sponge these days.  I think he's learned more in the last few months than he has his entire life, which has been pretty long...haha!  He has a great memory which can be bad for us as parents, but we know it's a good thing overall.  He is talking up a storm and even singing.  He will sing "E-i-e-i-o" and his newest song is the "Happy Birthday" song in which he sings the first two lines and instead of "to you," it's "to me!"  Of course!  It's all about Grafton!

I was reminded of why I try to avoid taking Grafton to the grocery store a few weeks ago, but he sure did love driving the car buggy!  The problem is, these carts don't hold nearly as much as regular carts and if he's in a regular cart he wants all of the food to be with him in the seat portion of the cart.  You can imagine how that does not work out so well.  Also, when I stop for a sconed to actually look at things, he gets bored and climbs out of the car through the window and will proceed to take everything within his reach off the shelf.  It only takes about 5 seconds for him to clear a shelf! 

There is a theme here.  Grafton loves to drive!  This is what he does everyday after I pick him up from daycare.  He also throws a temper tantrum when it's time to go inside.  I know the neighbors love it!  We do get him in the house quickly though and have to set him down on a carpeted area or a rug so he doesn't hurt himself.  He has a mean little temper.

This is one of the things Grafton didn't forget.  His Lamby let him wash his hands one time and so he consistently says "hands" which means he wants to wash them.  He loves water!  Again, there is risk of a temper tantrum when the hand washing session is over.

He LOVES to be outside and fortunately we've had a lot of early spring/summer weather.

Grafton had lots of fun, but would not eat cake.  What child doesn't like cake?!  AnnaPage LOVED her cake though.  Grafton even gave her some birthday kisses!  He also enjoyed trying to blow the whistle from his goody bag.
